Was heißt den "aufschrumpfen"?

Hallo,

Hi friends!
I have researched other options for the Stemco seal and I have found this possible replacement:
http://www.autopartsandstuff.com/skfgro ... cseal.aspx
Much cheaper, but will it do the job?
The skf seal is officially a replacement for stemco "2040+1026 ring". The size seems correct with a very small margin.
Any thoughts?

Also available in germany
https://www.autoteile-guenstig.de/oenummer-43752
but perhaps these are actually the correct measurements for the 2040:
http://www.truck-tychy.pl/p29132-uszcze ... -24-m.html 146x113x24
Then a stemco 2118 can be used
http://www.stemco.com/product-search/?b ... l=320-2118
Stemco 2040 does not even appear on the official stemco site. I have found a website where they write that 2118 is the replacement for 2040
Funny thing is that this website gives the 2118 the number 43752 as well. So perhaps both a valid replacements. And much cheaper!

By the way. The guide seems to be lost in space and the link is dead. Does anyone still have it?

Does anyone know if the o-ring underneath the rear axel radkappe is supposed to be some special "oval o ring" ?
My initial measurements say 205 x 6 but the ring is more like 205 x 6 x 7
I pulled the radkappe off today and there was some rust on the inside, where the oring is in contact and there was some oilleakage that I would suspect comes from the oring.

Felix part-list (
http://www.eisenzelt.de/v2/jupgrade/tec ... teileliste) says:
O-Ring 202,57mmx6,99-NBR70
I have used that one, it fits good.
Just as an example:

... the "o"-Ring is mor an "U"-Ring in cross section ... i have got it from the local IVECO-Dealer cost about 20 EUR ... so it is not worth to try any replacement ...
... in one of my threads it is described how to mont it ... search for Author: ulf h and Word: Stemco ... use a lot of grase to bring the ring into position ... the part you call Radkappe is known here as "Haafe" (southerngerman for Topf / pot) ... with Haafe you will find some more informations ...
Gruss Ulf

Awesome! I will get the original since the difference is so small. I can see that it is not original that is fittet now.

I have changed this O-Ring in Februar this year and used a new Iveco-Ring (about 20 Euros). By the way, my Iveco-Dealer told me, that i got the last ring and it was extra shipped from Dresden to me.
After 2000km, it seems, that the Iveco-ring have a leak. On our way back from france i noticed oil at the rear wheel again
I have not checked, if it is this ring yet, but maybe the "Iveco-Ring" is old and thus it has an oil leak.
My question is:
Are these "Iveco-Rings" new, or are they sitting since 20 years in some boxes???
