Front drive shaft LA911

Dear fellow enthusiasts!
My 1965 Kurzhauber LA911 has been missing one front driveshaft since 2010. I am not sure if it is the right or left that is missing The speedometer and odometer does not work and I assume that an indication of which side is missing?

I have located a spare driveshaft for sale that comes of a 1973 1513. Any chance this will fit my 911? Thie driveshaft is said to be about 90cm long.
