Dear friends

Can anybody tell me if you fit a “hinterachse”of a 1113 on a LAF 911 B?

I want to replace the “hinterachse” with one from a 1113 because it has a “Differenzialsperr”

Hope somebody can help with this question.

Hi Tim,

no idea about 911 and other MB because I dont havo one of them, but some questions.
What about breaking system (air, hydraulic), mounting places for suspension and shock absorbers, gear ratio of the axle (different from front weel ? )?
If all of this will fit this may work. In other case it may be useful to search for an 911 wheel with lock.
If all mounting points and other stuff will fit (exept gear ratio) you may need also some "new" friont wheel.

What is the meaning of TÜV (no idea which organisation has to sign this in your country) in case of different axle (if they recognize).

Hi Tim,

make sure the "new" rear axle is of the same type (HL4 or HL5) as the "old" one.

It is also a good idea to have a look at the gear ratio of the axle. If it is not the same, you will have to diassemble the axles and to transplant the "old" toothed wheels into the "new" axle, which is a lot of work and requires special knowledge and tools.

...ich weiß ja , daß du dem "L" hinterher trauerst , aber die Zeiten sind Gott sei dank vorbei . Wenn , dann fehlt da ein "n" in der Überschrift .
