Hello,

Does anyone know the best way to tune a 1998 Actros MP1 313hp engine for more power and fuel economy.

The truck will be exported and not subject to EU regulations. I have found a few "tuning companies" online offering products, but i'm looking for correct solution. Truck is in Sottrum Germany for a few months.

I don't think you will get both at the same time.

Maybe not, but the 400 was rated as the most fuel efficient power level. I think the 313 works harder and needs to be run higher in RPM.

Does anyone have recommendation of Mercedes diagnostics and calibration tool. I see various laptops on ebay and have used Icarsoft in the past, but maybe need to more to self service truck correctly.

Also, need to remove speed limit coded into truck somehow. It's governed to around 90km. How can i do this?
