Hello,

Has anything changed an OM441 to a higher power OM441LA or similar?

I found a truck that I'm interested in buying, but it has the low power non-turbo motor. Are there major internal engine differences or is it possible to us bolt on parts from an LA engine somehow.

Any ideas on how to get more power from a stock non-turbo engine would be good to know.

der wichtigste interne Unterschied ist die Nockenwelle. Sauger und Turbo/LLK habe grundverschiedene Steuerzeiten, weil der Sauger eine viel längere Spülzeit braucht.

Ok. Is there a way to increase power in the OM441 to higher levels?
