exhaust thermostat - Abgasthermostat für Deutz 413 series

Hello friends

As I don’t speak german I’m obliged to asked you this in English. I thus apologise if the answer to my question is already dealt with somewhere.

I see posts and tips about repairing / replacing the exhaust thermostat - Abgasthermostat für Deutz 413 series. Preparing a long trip with my 170d11 – F6L413 deutz engine, I’d like to bring with me a spare thermostat. I understand that some modifications can be applied to the one fitting the 714 series, but what about finding the genuine one for the 413 series? Is there a particular problem finding it? What is its Deutz number ? Where to find it or its alternative?

Hello.

As i understood it, there is no problem getting this part. Its just about 800-1000 Euros. Thats pretty much to have it in a spear-part box. Otherwise you get one for the 714 for around 20 Euro.

Your Motor will run also if it is broken, but you have to watch the tempreture yourself.

the unit thermostat for all F 6-12 L 413 engine

has the part number 240 77 37 KZ 0144 - 39

The repair kit has the part number 291 41 17

I hope you get farther.
