consumption of diesel

Hello every one, i want to know the consume diesel of MB 1017 ex-polizei and MB 1222 fire truck of 1992, all with equipment (600, 700L diesel, 200L water, with box camper...)

problem is, that no 1222 or comparable engine is listed in that list.

But maybe here is someone who has experience with a similar engine and its "hunger for fuel".

You may get some idea when comparing trucks with similar weight an similar hp. The fuel consumption should be comparable in this case. May be some differencies between turbo and non-turbo.

The most difference will make the foot of the driver. If you drive "sportive" you will need more fuel, if you can drive very relaxed you need less. Unfortunately with much traffik around and low powered you have sometimes to drive more sportive.

Thanks for replay, one person of this forum said to me at 90kmh the 1222 needs 25-27Liters.
I think i´m going to choose the 1017 from polizei, because is more moderate, in the road is good, on offroad moderate, the consume diesel, easy mecanic, long life and more chipper and i think is reasonable for my requirements. I will maket very ligth.
I hope it is the right choice.
