Gearbox and engine questions 120 D 10

Hallo All

Sorry I can't do this in German.

I have a 1966 120D10, and I've been here years ago but forgotten my previous handle.

Couple of questions looking for answers. Thank you.

1. The ZF AK 5 35 gearbox has ceased to select reverse and first. The plastic bush inside the metal plate at the bottom of the gear stick is pretty much gone. Also the bush or similar above the plate is missing. The manual doesn't make it clear what they are made of (plastic? Nylon?) and I can't find the parts. Any ideas?

2. I'm giving it a full service before heading into Europe but just want to check about oil and filters. What is the best oil? Also, has anyone got the filter part number to save a job?

3. Also, the engine is failing to drop the revs when double declutching eg changing from 3rd to 2nd, the revs take a long time to reduce leaving me in neutral! Could it be a non-functioning exhaust brake? Or what else could cause it? Everything seems to be moving freely.

4. Does anyone have a throttle pedal for sale and/or the plate that goes around it in the floor pan? Also, the rubber boot that goes around the gear sticks?

5. If I have more questions, is it ok to keep asking in this thread?!

@2: there are no changeable filters: just the gap-oil-filter on the foremoste right side (the sump needs an extra drain, No 19 plug beneath) an the "Zentrifuge" in the middle of the air cooling fan. (remove the three No. 10 screws, remove the cap, the zentrifuge itself draw with a pipe wrench, carefully to draw striktly straith ... an scratch it out with a ice cream stick or tongue depresser from your GP)
A reasonable 15W40 will do the job, 85W95GL 4 for the gears (the transfer box is the most important, since ther are no more than 1,7 l filling)

@3 sounds to me like the throttle linkage is not well greased or the retracting spring needs to be tightened a bit more (lever over the fan)

@4 for the gear stick take an old leather jacket, cut it in two halves, fix the sleeve on the gearstick (cable tie) and fix it with the fastener strap
