"Serviceklappe" for the Zeppelin FM2 wall thickness

#1 Beitrag von Heering80 » 2014-11-13 12:52:10

What kind of service hatches have you used for Zeppelin containers? Everything I find is for wall thickness up to less than 45mm. Would be nice to find a hatch that's about 600x1000 and sturdy. But still cheap.

Thanks!

This is this one I used. Only the inlay should be less than 45mm.

I bought the same one and would strongly advise against it for any proper offroad use. Those things are all plastic, including the hinges. Unless you use your allrad only to go shopping, its only a matter of time before it dies. The original lock system is so weak (plastic like the rest of it) you can break it open by hand without tools.

Actually I've decided to go with the tourfactory hatch. The price is ok, and I got a good service (fast reply) from them. Haven't ordered anything yet, though.

Good alternatives are still welcome.
