Help!! Brakes adjustment nut welded MB1017AF
Helllo
recently i found that all (8) brakes adjustment nuts are welded. (pics)
Anyone knows the reason why they are welded? Is a Police standard procedure?
This way i can´t adjust the brakes. And they are in a place very difficult to reach with machines to clear the weld.
Anyone has tips regarding this work? Do i need to open the wheels hub if i can´t cut from outside?
Greetings

Re: Help!! Brakes adjustment nut welded MB1017AF
Hello
i tried to find some documentation about this question but i can´t find. I still question myself why they did it. Is it a offroad trick?
This is a Google translation...i hope everyone can understand.
"Helllo

Hmm, never seen something like this. Sometimes workshops work in misterious ways. I would take a Dremel an grind it away.

Re: Help!! Brakes adjustment nut welded MB1017AF
Hallo,
Daniel

Re: Help!! Brakes adjustment nut welded MB1017AF
Thanks for the answers...
I tried with the Dremel but is difficult to arrive on the bolts and cut clean.
I will open the drums and check it after i change the head gasket that is gone!

Hello,
today I had the chance to take a photo of my new ones. As I said, there is rust and dirt, but don`t remove the welding! If you remove the welding it can not work anymore!!
