OM 300 - Serie Interessante Informationen

Servus zusamen,
ich habe mich mal schlau gemacht - Primär wegen dem bei mir verbautem OM314.
Es Gibt im Iran eine Firma, die diese Motoren noch heute herstellt.
Also Kontakt dazu aufgenommen, denn das was ich auf deren Website sah hat mich neugierig gemacht.

OM314 mit satten 110 PS und Euro 2...
110 Pferdchen und über 100 Nm mehr Drehmoment fast aus dem Serien Motor sind eine Ansage..
und da wurde der Busche (Schteffl) plötzlich gaaanz schnell - grins -



also mal eben eine nette E-mail geschickt und nach ein paar Tagen eine sehr nette Antwort
darauf bekommen, welche ich euch hier nicht vorenthalten möchte..
vor allem, da es hierbei nicht nur um den OM 314 geht auch OM352 und deren Nachfolger werden dort immer
noch in Serie gefertigt mit einigen Pferdchen mehr als bei uns Serie ist.
Ich versuche gerade mal abzuklären, was mich so ein Motörchen incl. Steuern und Zoll kosten würde.
Interessant ist das für mich allemal. zumal ich gerade einiges an meinem LP erneuert habe.

Many thanks for your email. It is very pleasure for us you still have old MB truck since 1972 and using it as Motorhome.

We in Iran also have many people which they are very proud of having old version Mercedes Benz truck or passenger cars. Nowadays you can find very old model of private cars as 220 and older, which they keep it as antique in their house parking.

In my native city of Tabriz many people prefer Mercedes Benz cars than other companies. This is historical trend in here.



Concerning the engine OM314 I must inform you that we have developed this engine to 110hp and euro2 version by help of a research institute since 8 years ago. By this development the main parts as 5C like crankcase(cylinder block), cylinder head, crankshaft, camshaft and connecting rod remain same. And the main changes are fuel injection system(FIS) as INJECTION PUMP, INJECTOR, PISTON(Combustion cavity) and also we added turbocharger too. In order to assemble the turbocharger there is small changes in exhaust manifold too.

This engine can be substitute to old version very easily too.

So we are very interested to help you to improve your engine in any way you like. Either we can supply to you one new version engine OM314 Euro2 or we can give you the new parts which you can assemble them to your engine by yourself.



We also recently developed the engine OM364 TO EURO2 and Eueo3 of 140hp and 120hp. As you know this engine is also more and less same as OM314 engine. The main parts are same with small changes only in Machining. We can also supply this engine to you too.
