The difference is roughly around 10 cm or so. The car is over 30 years old, so that might be enough to distort the springs.

Can someone please tell me what is the purpose of that small hole next to cooling air outlet? I have the "inside installation kit" for it, and there's a hole for it in the mounting plate. So it must be important.

What kind of service hatches have you used for Zeppelin containers? Everything I find is for wall thickness up to less than 45mm. Would be nice to find a hatch that's about 600x1000 and sturdy. But still cheap.

Thank you all for your answers. I ordered 40x40x40x3 profile from estahl.com . they had reasonable prices and shipping was also cheap, great service.

Now they are ready as frames. That thing costed a lot more that I would have wanted, though..

What kind of a tool are you referring to when you say "you cut something out with a Flex"? Is it an angle grinder or a reciprocating saw (säbelsäge) or what? It seems to me that Flex is only a trade mark

The main problem was apparently too low voltage in batteries. There was only 22,3V, and after recharge the thing works just fine again. But you were right, the combustion chamber must have been fluded too, because there was a huge cloud of black smoke when it started.
