It's been a long journey so far. Here are some photos of the project over the last 11 months. This was Actros I asked about fall of 2023. It sold and then came back for sale in Austria spring 2025.

Maybe not, but the 400 was rated as the most fuel efficient power level. I think the 313 works harder and needs to be run higher in RPM.

I like the more modern look of the Actros, but I'm worried that it's not going to be as simple to fix myself as the F90.

The rear trilex center section has a part number on it of # 105496e. I think it's an E last digit. Hard to tell. Is this an adapter ring or it's the full trilex hub that needs to be dealt with.

Not 100% sure, but IIRC there are no planetary gears with a different ratio. The usual way to change the axle ratio ist to swap the differentials.

Anyway, in my opinion there ist no need to work on the axles. Just put on bigger tyres (14.00R20 should be great) and you are fine ...
