Hello, I want to put the system water heater, working with the nautical boiler to warm water and radiators to warm all the space interior.
My container will be in fiber glass with the measures inside - 468cmx230cmx200, thickness - 65mm.
Which webasto I need for this dimensions ?
Thermo top c diesel is enough or 90st?
I need some opinions.

Re: Water heater
I Used the Top C .. first Test shows ist will work, just in case the Top C is not running with best setup. Only 2 tests with a not ready positioned exhaust.
I used: Thermo Top C , Heat Exchanger Madeira 4, for Warm water isotemp 15 liters...
Container is Zeppelin FM2.

Re: Water heater
The 5,2 kW of the Thermo Top C should be far enough for normal use.
A bigger heater will be necessary if you plan winter vacation in scandinavia or vacation in high altitude. Thin air reduces the power of the heater.
But here is something to think about: The Thermo Top C offers 2 steps of power, 2,5 kW and 5,2 kW.
For my opinion the minimum power of 2,5 kW is too high. If you need less than 2,5 kW, and this will very often the case, I think if outside temperatures are above 0 degrees, than the Thermo Top C will switch off if the maximum temperature is reached and restart after a while. Restarting of a heater needs much more electric energy than it would consume while running all the time. Please take into consideration to use the Eberspächer Hydronic S3 Economy D5E which offers power from 1,3 to 5 kW. You will need much less battery power because the heater does not restart often.
I have the older Eberspächer Hydronic 2 Commercial which has also a minimum power auf 1,2 kW. Before that I had a 2 step Webasto type and the Eberspächer is much more comfortable.

Re: Water heater
I appreciate your information, guys.
When i bought my truck MB 1017 doppelkabine it came with webasto dbw 2010, 11kw which is now working well, i think i will use it, it is connected to the motor and i will connect it to the back of the truck (radiators and boiler isotemp).
With this system I will have higher consumption, the opinion of Nimrod has considerable weight because the high consumption take me autonomy.
It's a good compromise the webasto dBw 2010 ?
