Mercedes 1017 or 1222

Hello every one, sorry i don´t speak german, i was born in Haggen, but i came with 2 years old and i don´t remember.
I want to choose one this trucks MB 1017 ex polizei, or MB 1222 fire truck, by your experience and nolage, what is the best truck for my questions.
I want to ride in motorways at 90kmh.
The consume no more than 22- 23 L/100km.
Good performence in off-road.
Easy parts of mecanic in the wourld.
Long life of the engine.

Possible, depends on the size of the tires and the axle ratio

possible, depends on the gross vehicle weight, but with 90 you need more diesel

Good performence in off-road

yes, as far as I can see and I hope!

The 1017 price is very low at the moment, 1222 are very rare.

my truck is a MB 1217A, diesel consumption ~ 24 l/ 100km (~10tons, 3,80m high), off-road of course more.

I am happy with my truck BUT sooner or later you will look for a tuning of your injection pump or anthing else to pimp it. So if you have access to a 1222 - go for it!!

If there any one knows some mercedes to sell, I would appreciate your attention.
Like the Mb 1222, MB 1019 or Mb 1017.
I need some information about the 1019, about the consume, performence and top speed.
The prices i check for 1222 are a little bit
expensive to me, it´s about 15.000€ or more.

have you tried Heidtmann? I bought mine from him and everything was perfect.

Or have a look frequently in "Angebote" - although it is not only for trucks and you don't have a filter for Mercedes you may find interesting trucks and may get a feeling for the prices.

Yes, but as the most 1017-owner I'm dreaming about an other gearbox with 6 ore more gears and a "long" last gear.

But, bigger tires solves the problem a little.
