Do you think is it somehow posible change short cabin on mb914 by doka 1019 ?

You do better, to expand the original cabin by welding, as to run the trouble with the hooks and hydaulics.
Its not a big deal.

Hey,

I believe the 1019 cabin does not fit the chassis of the 914. the MK/SK cabin of the 1019 is broader than the LK cabin from the 914.

Please correct if I am wrong!

I cant tell about MB , my favorites are MAN and we dealed that extension a year ago on an 14.192 from 1990
cos the crew cabs are fu.......ing hard to get, especially with a long wheel base on three axles and AWD.( nearly impossible )
The biggest prob was the increasing weight, cos by lifting the cabin the original hydraulic wont make the job properly.
We customized on the way that we made a connection to the air system, than a high jacker for1.5to each side and now everything is compfy.
The benefit on that way was we coulg design the cabin on our needs, a bit higher ,ready made roof rack with winch, ..........
By the way the box u looking for stays 300m away from me. Its from a freezer truck with 12cm insulation, side and back doors,
255cm inside hight . Is red with alu framing, Price 1500 €

I guess the most important point is the 914 frame.
If it is 90 cm wide like the 1019 frame the cabin change will be possible.
Hydraulic and all the rest is available.the cabin is complete.
If your frame is not 90 cm , dont try

the frame was my point.
the 1019 has a width of 900 and as far as I know the 914/917 has 850.

Thanx everybody for information, propably it is not good ideal to try it, but i cant find any original long cab for 914, 814or another LK model :/ i need cab for 5 sitze, not longest neccesary.
And in czech it is not posible make tuv if I weld cab to be biger.

can't you put some seats in the box and join it with a big passage to the cab? that's what i did, but my cab is not for tipping.
