I tell a little of what I want to do with this project. Some time ago had been observed in the vicinity of my old job Camper's stationed near the Rio de La Plata in Puerto Madero and have since entered me want to make something like this or similar.
Here in Agentina the "Casas Rodantes" are well, are cute, but they do not desire crossings such as those made with my family.
And since I am a fan of survival I would like to build a vehicle that allows me to explore and delve into places that conventional vehicles could not.
Now I'll tell you a little more of the truck. As I said before is a Mercedes Benz 911 1972 (almost as old as me). Belonged to the Argentine Army from 0Km. Has 750.000Km tours and is in poor condition, so do not even have in my possession since we separated 1700km and not able to travel routes as well will see in the photos. In Comodoro Rivadavia is where I'm in contact with a company that could bring me directions from there.
The truck runs but has many missing and breakdowns will look like in the pictures, but certainly not buy very cheap at auction, the value was $ 12,000 ( Dollars ) € 1,300 approximately.
Try some wonder why buy something so far and shabby. Simple , I am a romantic
I think we all deserve to have a good life, humans, animals and even cars. Since I always liked the process of repairing things is like a caress the soul, convert, repair and see the final result. I enjoy creating and shaping my projects, from fixing an old bike to see the knives that I make handmade finished. Therefore desidi buy this old truck and give you a better retirement life hahaha
And as for me I'm unemployed engineer systems .... This beautiful country is not having a good time but everything was solved soon.
And this means that if others are out here awaits a good asado criollo
