hallo I have mercedes 914 http://zlutak.blogspot.com/
and I want change double wheels for single in size +-14x22,5" but IN mercedes they told me that I have to change also many parts of driving, servopumpe and also back suspension

do you have experience with it?

I also have a MB 914 AK with single tires 365/80-20 which is more or less the same as 14,5-wheels. I bought it from a dealer who did the neccessary changes for the single wheels but as far as I know he only had to cut the entrance stairs and the mud wings as you can see on the picture below.

thanx for answere, the problem is that if I want to change it officialy (with czech TUV) I need permision from mercedes company and they say, that I have to change many things in their garage with original parts ( too expensive) but I also thing it is should be ok, just put there the tires...
btw. I check out your web, nice work! and nice photos from marocco, I will go there hopefuly this winter also..

if it helps I can email my registration document to you. But anywhere there is not written which changes have been done on my truck.

Maybe you show the czech TÜV some pictures of german 914s and ask them why it cannot be done like this. I know several 914s with big single tires which is done without many changes on the chassis.
