Haben die Actros-Lastwagen wie Mercedes-Autos Probleme mit der Verkabelung?

Gibt es bei Actros-Lkw unterschiedliche Übersetzungsverhältnisse in den Naben oder Achsen? Ich brauche einen LKW, der mit 100 km/h auf der Autobahn fahren kann.

SK and Actros have normally no problems with the elektric wiring.
Mein SK from 1994 works without any problems.
In the truck You willfind many different ratios, so Youhsve to look careful for that. Maybe the firefighter trucks from switzerland has the long ones.

Does anyone see any problems with the specifications of this truck in the use of an Expedition Truck with a 4.5 meter habitat? In North America we need to be able to drive freeway at 105kph at times. I think these trucks are only 85kph in Europe.

I see a big problem: You will always smile driving the truck. With the wheels it runs 106 km/h at 180ü U/min.
With bigger wheels you can go 105 kn/h with lower beam.
With the MK1 Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzer elektronisch, 104 km/h You can not go the full speed. When mounting bigger wheels You have to compensate the tachometer or You can go faster.
4.5 m Habitat is no problem in my opinion.

Cruise Control is on board
MD9 Tempomat
Locker in minimum at rear axle and verteilergetriebe, front axle isn't known.

This 1998 truck has no air conditioning in cab. Are there simple ways to add AC using factory parts? I know they have aftermarket kits.

I assumed all the Actros would have it. We have very hot months.

Well the seller refused to allow a mechanical inspection on that truck. Said that;

"Our company changes lubricants before selling, air, fuel, diesel filters, carries out a technical inspection.

Please let me know if you want to buy or not".


I can't really trust the inspection performed by the seller.

Do the service Yourself, so You know, what You have done. What is the mileage of the truck?
A risk do You have always in live.
The amount You pay for the truck is small the lifetimecost with build a habitat amd travel around will be much higher.

I am permanently based in Uzbekistan and found “my” SK1824 from 1995 with low mileage on a selling platform at home in Germany .
The seller was very cooperative and provided me without hesitation with all information I asked for incl entire documentation for the truck .
I even asked him to make test drive and to video record speed vs rpm .
I bought this truck without seeing it and everything went well .
If you don’t have a good feeling keep your hands off and better look for another truck .

I think also, if You don't have a good feeling, don't do it.

Yes.. I really like the truck, but seller is not interested in working with me at all. It was hard to get even the length of current box and basic details from him. When I told him I wanted inspection he did a refused to even work with me any longer. I think he just wants someone to come hand him the money and not ask a single question. Very strange.
