Hello,
I have an MB 1124 with a G4/110 gearbox. I have just replaced the clutch master and slave cylinder. I was wondering how to properly adjust the large spring which is connected to the clutch pedal. The clutch is very stiff and I was hoping to make it easier to depress.

Hello Eric,


the spring is preloaded with the nut and helps to actuate the clutch.
There is no instruction for the setting.
Simply pre-tension the spring until the pedal is easy to operate.
