Leistung / power 176ps + oilpan QUESTION

Hello everybody,

First....sorry I can read german but writing is to difficult!!! And google translate makes weird creations! ;-)

I have an 170D11 with 176ps engine and XZL 14.00R20 tyres . I spoke to a person at abenteuer allrad about changing the settings of the ESP to gain more power.

Does anybody have experience with changing the ESP on the Magirus 170D11? I am wondering what happens with:
- fuel consumption (difference before and after changing with same driving speed)
- reliability ( axles, engine, gearbox )
- What is the best place to go in Germany for changing the settings?

And I heard a person told me at Abenteuer Allrad that the frontaxle could hit the oilpan while driving offroad. Does anyone have experience with this?

Best regards Sjoerd

Hello,

Thank you for the answer! I got in contact with herr Schramm and somewhere this summer I will send him the pump!

About the oilpan. Do I read it correctly? :
If the original springs and shocks (170D11 FA - THW) are working properly and as long as I don't drive de Dresden-Breslau Rally at full speed the change of
a broken oilpan is very small? I drive 95% normal roads and planned an offroad trip in Morocco on pistes.

I wouldn't like to raise the suspension. I had a syncro before and as soon as you start changing 1 item of settings there will be 10 items more that need to be changed!

Best regards,
Sjoerd
