I don't know if this is suitable for this thread, but I think this is the same engine in unimogs with small differenses. My engine is mounted in my 1970 Mercedes Truck LK 1313 . Mine is turbo mounted and provides 168 ps. I want to upgrade my old turbo with a newer one with better preformance and install a cooler aswell. On my engine the manifold flange is pointing strait up, and on later versions the flange is pointing down and even backwards. My question is this: Are all flange on various manifold identical, or do I need to buy a new one ( or perhaps install a complete turbokit from a OM366 engine, or even turbokit from 80s unimogs?) Where can I buy in this case a turbokit?

Hi Leif,
you can get a turbo kit from Atkinson in the UK. I have fitted one of them to a Unimog recently. The kit is quite complete, with a modified rocker cover, new manifold, turbo and all hoses. Not sure though how well it would fit into your truck. Have a look on their website- there is a picture.
Cheers
